AFITE is a French association of individual members working in all environmental sectors, created
in 1979, counting about 1000 members.
AFITE brings together specialists, professionals and technicians to discuss major questions
concerning environmental protection, and informs members about technology and legislation news.

TARGET GROUPS : Members come from equipment manufacturers for pollution abatement; energy providers; industries; laboratories; monitoring bodies; transport; consulting offices;
governmental agencies; banks and insurance companies; specialised legal offices; training centers; regional authorities.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES : AFITE offers its members a professional directory; a website; technical visits; symposiums and conferences.

WORKING GROUPS : AFITE has created technical working groups on wastes, on French and
European regulations, on wastewater, on technical risk, on energy, on jobs and formations, etc., depending on current environmental
problems.

AFITE was one of the three founders of EFAEP
